Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness at St Paul’s Eye Unit.

The Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness at St Paul’s Eye Unit mission is simple: to prevent blindness and vision loss.

It’s estimated that 1 in 5 people will live with sight loss in their lifetime and St. Paul's want to prevent that. St. Paul's do this by fundraising to support ground breaking research into the newest treatments for conditions including glaucoma, AMD and diabetic retinopathy.

The research partners are St Paul’s Eye Unit itself and the Department of Eye & Vision Science at the University of Liverpool, [link to partners page] so the work we fund is both patient-focused and cutting-edge.

Anything you can give or do to support the Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness (charity number 1047988) is support for their battle to beat blindness.

I am so proud to support St. Paul's Eye Unit as I have first-hand experience of their outstanding treatment and care (I have Keratoconus and a corneal transplant recipient). I was also privileged to see the research that is carried out by the totally dedicated staff. You never know if you or your family will need specialist eye treatment, so please support St Paul's so they can continue their research into pioneering treatments.
